Let me let you in on a little secret. Doing family pictures at the same time you are doing senior pictures is a genius move. It may seem a little overwhelming at first, but I promise to make the process quick and easy and you get to kill two birds with one stone (or as my son recently said…”use two stones to kill a bird” 🤣).
Nicolle was smart and decided to add on a mini family session to Harrison’s senior pictures. I always do the family pictures first. It helps the senior get used to me and also allows for the other family members to take off once we are done with family pictures. No one likes to have an audience when they are getting their picture taken (especially 18 year old boys).
Harrison wanted his senior pictures to be a bit more “urban” so we decided on Downtown Littleton. However, Nicolle wanted the family pictures to have a nature background. No problem! The Platte River-Highline Canal is a great place for pictures and is super close to Downtown Littleton. I love this bridge.
Nicolle needed an updated headshot as well. I will always do a headshot or two during sessions, so if you need one….don’t hesitate to ask! Isn’t she gorgeous?
Grayson is only 14 but he already looks so grown up and already taller than his dad. I am sure it will be time for his senior pictures in the blink of an eye!
I love the bond between brothers (probably because of my boys), which is why brother pictures are some of my favorite.
Then we said goodbye to Matt and Grayson and headed to Main Street to do Harrison’s senior pictures.
Dapper. Harrison makes this suit look good!
Somehow a Justin Timberlake song is coming to mind (as long as I’ve got my suit and tie…..anyone know that song?)
Downtown Littleton has such a great variety of spots to do photos. This turquoise wall has always been one of my favorites!
Usually it is buzzing with people but this year it has been very quiet and made it much easier to take photos!
This is a newly discovered staircase. You know how I love staircases. We had to go on a patio for a local restaurant, but we were quick and no one said anything. Better to ask for forgiveness than permission, right?! Usually I am a BIG rule follower, but this time we just snuck in and snuck out. Totally worth it as I think this is my favorite photo from the session!
This kid is one smart cookie and wants to be an engineer. Not only that but he is a star athlete! He runs a half marathon every single week. I did one half marathon and I thought I was going to die!
You can’t visit Downtown Littleton without taking pictures by the bright blue door. It is an icon.
Harrison was a little quiet and shy, but I can tell that he is a good kid and he is really photogenic!
The ONE specific photo that he requested was a recreation of an old Michael Jordan photo. Harrison loves to play basketball and idolizes MJ. Of course I had to make it happen. Thankfully the Littleton Courthouse made for a perfect backdrop for these photos. What do you think? How did we do? **I could not find who owns the right to this image…it is NOT mine own and I do not own the copyright to this photo, it is purely for reference.**
So fun to be challenged to recreate a photo!
Good luck on the rest of your senior year Harrison. I hope it has been a good one despite all of the challenges this year has brought!

Thank you Lisa for including our family in your blog! You were so easy to work with and helped take the stress out of pictures. We loved the final results of both our family and Harrison’s senior pictures. It was so great that we could have 2 different locales for the sessions.
Awww…thanks! I loved working with you guys too. Have a Merry Christmas!!!
