You booked a session with your brand photographer, had a blast taking pictures, got back your gallery, but now what? You post a few photos and that’s it? No way! Let’s talk about where to use branding photos to make that investment you made in a photographer well worth the money!

Online Presence
In today’s day and age, you need an online presence. This is why most of my clients’ first thoughts on where to use branding photos is in their online presence. Here are a few places to be sure to include your brand photos:

Use Branding Photos On Your Website
I like to think of my website as my business’s home base on the internet. Everything for my business is found there; it is the reference for my branding and, ultimately, where I see the most conversion. So when I get new brand images, that is the first place I upload them!

Social Media
There are so many places to add your brand pictures on social media. Make new content with posts, stories, reels. Update bio pics and cover photos. Even create ads for different platforms! Here are a list of social media platforms I recommend to every business owner:
- Google My Business
- Lemon 8

In-Person Efforts
Many businesses today can operate entirely virtually. However, when given the opportunity to network in person, you should take it! Use your branding photos to prepare for these opportunities by creating the following:

Use Branding Photos In Printed Materials
Depending on your business type, you may need to print a few materials. However, every business should have business cards! Include your unique brand photos on your business cards for brand consistency.
In addition to business cards, you may need product packaging that includes your branding photos. As well as physical event flyers. Any time you send something to a client or potential client, it should have your branding on it!

Presentations
Another in-person opportunity to use branding photos is presentations. Speaking engagements are a great way to network, build your community, and find new clientele. When preparing slide decks for a speaking engagement, you have all the content you need from your brand photos!

How To Use Branding Photos In Email Marketing
Lastly, we have email marketing. Again, anytime something goes from your hand to your audience’s, it should have your branding on it. This includes emails! Here are a few ideas of what to send to your email list:
- regular newsletter
- brochures
- ebook covers
- exclusive updates
- promotional offers
- upcoming events or sales
- testimonials
- surveys for feedback
- product tips/how-tos
- seasonal messages
- thank you notes
