Denver commercial photographers are ready to book you for your branding photos session—but could you be missing something big? I love working with all kinds of professionals to build their brand through strategic branding photoshoots. But a lot of my clients are just getting into branding photography for the first time, and they’re not sure what they need. Let me share a recent shoot with you, and some of my “can’t-miss-’em” elements.

But First: About the Shoot
Heather is one of my HUMA. She came to a shoot to help me show off a transformation for a medical weight loss doctor. Heather is all about clean makeup and even has her own cosmetic line named after her daughter and loves to help teens find clean makeup. You can check out her products here.

What Could You Be Missing from Your Branding Photos?
So you’ve taken all the right steps. You scheduled a branding session. You did your research. What more could you be missing from your branding photos? If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that not every branding session is created equal. And while it’s great to have a brand shoot, you want to make sure you’re getting the most out of your time with your photographer.

Action Shots for your Branding Photos Session
The number one thing that my clients miss in their branding photos is…drumroll…action shots! Most branding shoots have tons of posed portraits. But, you can’t look at the camera and smile for EVERY picture. DOING SOMETHING helps you feel more comfortable in front of the camera, and shows off more of your natural cadence and smiles.
Plus, action photos also make for great pics on social media! We love to see a powerful business owner in action, and your followers will trust you when they see you in your element.

Hero Images for your Branding Photos Session
And the second most-missed item in your branding photos session is a collection of hero images. A hero image is a large, brand-identifying image normally placed right below the header on a website. Deliberately shooting hero images will add variety to your shoot. They also help SHOW what you do by highlighting brand colors, style, and associations.

Pictures are a visual representation of your business, so make it work for you!! Make sure you don’t miss a single thing on your branding photos session. Branding photos can make a big impact on your business, so when you think you’re ready to book your Denver commercial photographers, just jump in! You can book a session with me right here.
