There is a free marketing tool sitting right in front of you that can grow your business, increase trust, boost your SEO, and help you make more money… and most people are under using it. I’m talking about reviews. If you are not being intentional about getting reviews, organizing reviews, and actually using reviews, you are leaving opportunity on the table.

If you Google two businesses and one has two reviews and the other has five hundred, which one are you choosing?

We get caught up in pricing all the time. Are we too high. Too low. Should we raise our rates. But your next client is often deciding based on what other people say about you.

Reviews create credibility. They speed up trust. They give potential clients confidence before they ever talk to you. In many cases, referrals and reviews influence buying decisions more than pricing does.

Where to Get Reviews for Your Business

For most businesses, Google is the best place to focus. It is searchable, it supports SEO, and it builds authority.

Depending on your industry, you might also use Facebook, Yelp, Etsy, Nextdoor, or even video testimonials. The key is choosing one primary platform and building momentum there so your numbers actually grow in one strong place.

And timing matters. Ask when the experience is fresh and the client is excited. That is when people are most willing to say yes.
