It all began 14 years ago when I needed to make an extra $500.
I'm an accidental photographer and entrepreneur. I left my teaching job because by the time I paid for childcare, I would have only cleared $500 a month. I knew I could figure out a way to make some money to help my family and when I borrowed my sister's camera and started taking family pictures, I was hooked. I started my photography business without even owning a camera!
The extra money I brought in for my family was a game changer but I was still struggling. I didn't know how to take my business to the next level and get beyond the side hustle phase.
I finally unlocked the next level of my business when I confidently stepped into my brand and learned to show up authentically and figure out how to speak to my clients. Now I have the confidence to show up in my marketing, social media and every aspect of my business. And I want to help you do the same.

Colorado is my home and the mountains are my happy place where I love to spend time refreshing my soul there whenever possible. My husband and 3 boys keep me laughing, grounded and also keep me up to my eyeballs in dirty laundry and making meals. Being a cheerleader for businesses is my favorite thing because I love to see passionate business owners pursuing their dreams and making an impact on the world!

My biggest year yet! I started a podcast (the Brand Believer) and I now offer FULL branding services for clients. Building brands is my jam and I have the most amazing clients helping them with everything from logo design and photos to messaging and full website building. This year has been a dream come true! I have fully stepped into my passion and purpose and I want the same for you!

2022
I want to hear about YOUR brand journey.
I finally decided to niche down and serve businesses and really invest in my own branding, as well as learning everything I could about helping other businesses with their brands. I invested in coaching, retreats, experts, masterminds and my business exploded!
I decided I needed to level up and I hired a graphic designer and paid for professional headshots for the first time. This brand served me well and helped me build a solid foundation for my business. I also started attending retreats, conferences and investing in both the photography and business side of things.

I wanted a brand that reflected the current world. So I found some bright colors and got a logo off of Etsy that had a camera in it (because that is what I thought I "should" do). And 7 months later....I HATED it and decided it was time to hire a graphic designer.

It all started with a borrowed camera and ZERO knowledge about photography. Then I was hired as an assistant/second shooter. In early 2011, I bought my first camera and took a photography class and got my first clients as LiLo Photography.

My parenting role has moved from chaos coordinator to young adult consultant. My husband of 26 years is my biggest supporter and my favorite day of the week is Sundays because we spend the day together at church and then settle down with pizza and a movie.
