Welcome to the third part of how to prepare for your senior pictures! In case you missed the previous posts on when to schedule and how to choose a photographer you can find them here and here.
Today we are going to talk about what makes you, you! You want to be sure that your senior pictures match your personality and uniqueness.
I have session guides for all of my photo shoots as it really helps put everyone on the same page, makes everyone feel more comfortable and answers tons of questions you didn’t even know you had! This is one of the pages from my Senior Session Guide. The guide is chock full of great information to help you get ready for this fun and exciting session. Here is the page from the guide about how to make your senior pictures look different from anyone else.
Often kids want to bring something to help symbolize their high school career. If they are an athlete, they often bring equipment from their sport. If they are a musician they might bring their instrument. Anything that helps define you and your interests and background works! I love seeing the variety of what seniors will bring. Here are some of my favorite unique senior pictures.
Jacinda is an amazing swimmer so we had to get some swimming shots for her pictures.
Mia is Indian and her grandmother bought her this Sari. Isn’t it beautiful? Your culture, heritage and background can easily be infused into the pictures.
Joshua plays the guitar and wanted to include that in his pictures. The funny thing is he was pretty shy when doing the pictures until his guitar came out. Then he really came out of his shell and the big smiles started appearing.
Jana is a HUGE coffee lover so she brought along her favorite Starbucks drink.
These are some of my favorite sports pictures.
Ashlynn is a skier so her skis made for great pictures!
Not everyone is into sports and that is okay! Sophia LOVES vintage dresses and high heels. I loved her session!
Maddie wanted to bring along her mom’s bible as it is very special to her.
Garrett is a country boy and horseman so we did some country pictures with his cowboy hat and his horse too!
At her senior session, Maddie was dreaming of going to CCU for her college career and guess what?! She is starting CCU in the fall!
There are endless options of what to bring for your session! I love making each senior feel special and knowing that their pictures don’t look like any other senior pictures. There are no mass produced sessions with LiLo Photography.
What makes you unique and how can we highlight that at your session? I love a new challenge so bring it on!!
Don’t forget that you have until May 31st to book your session and get $50 off! Don’t wait!
