Sorry if I have been a little MIA lately!  I have spent most of last week and weekend up at our family cabin in Fairplay.  It is wonderful and relaxing and the best part….no wifi and limited data on my phone.  It means that we get great family time with no electronics.  However, it can be tricky when you are trying to run a small business and need to be able to get emails!  So I am sorry if I haven’t been as responsive as usual.

 

But I promise that this will be worth the wait.  Because there isn’t much better in this world than a freshly baked baby.  Right!?

And little Hunter was absolute perfection!!!  All 9 pounds of him!

I love that he was awake during the beginning of our session because he has the most expressive little newborn eyes I have ever seen.

 

I tell you what.  My mom always said I was her easiest baby because I also weighed in at over 9 pounds and she said I was chubbier so I ate and slept better than my sisters!

Big babies are the best.  Their little chub makes them easier to pose and they don’t feel quite as fragile.

Victoria had a lamb skin similar to this when she was a baby so Hunter has one too.  I love incorporating personal items into newborn sessions.  It ensures that each one is as unique and special as each baby is.

 

Look at his sweet baby toes (it makes me want to nibble on them…..is that just me) and look at his flakey little fingers!!

Hunter was an absolute dream.  And I kept thinking, this can’t get any better.

And then Jackson came home from school for the day and STOLE the show.

Look at this sweet boy.  He was so well behaved, did exactly what I told him and was completely smitten with his baby brother.

As soon as we put Hunter in his lap, Jackson started counting his little toes.  And my uterus skipped a beat.  Good thing we are done having kids because this is not good birth control.

 

You can see where these boys get their good looks and sparkling personalities.  Just take a peek at their parents!

 

Victoria is gorgeous and looks better 7 days postpartum than I do on a regular day!  It really isn’t fair.

This sweet little family completely charmed me!
