I was lucky enough to work with Cameron’s mom (Kim) at D’Evelyn a few years ago. Cameron’s brother, Trevor, was also in my class when I was a school teacher and so although I had never met Cameron or Cassi (even though they both also went to and graduated from D’Evelyn) we have strong connections.
Kim gifted her kids this session and I was beyond thrilled to get to work with them. Gifting a photo session is always a good idea! I have gift certificates if you are interested, your family will love you for it!
These two are beyond adorable! Their eyes are so bright and soulful.
Having two small kids can be exhausting. But these two are wonderful and I had a blast with them!
It was a bit chilly, but Ava in her hat and coat is just about the cutest thing ever so I was okay with it! Isn’t she just a doll baby??
I always send out a questionnaire to get to know a family before the session. One of the questions I ask is “If you could only have one picture from the session, what would it be?” Cassi’s answer cracked me up and just shows the stage of life that she is in. She said she just wanted one picture with everyone’s eyes open. I think we nailed it. Don’t you think?
Not only that, we got multiple pictures of everyone’s eyes open AND smiling! No head swaps or Photoshop was needed!
The individual shots of mom/dad with the kids are always my favorite. They are full of emotion and they are going to be treasured for years to come! The older the kids get, the more they will appreciate these pictures.
It was a joy to meet you guys and finally get to put some faces with the names I have heard so much about.
