Hello Friends.
Guess what??? I am featuring one of my all-time favorite families today. The Griffins have been so loyal to me and every session I have with them just keeps getting better and better. If that is even possible.
It is hard to believe that I have been photographing little Josie since she was just a few days old and now she is walking and talking like a champ. In fact, Josh texted me the other day to say “The other day we were trying to get a good 10 month photo of Avery and Josie was in the room. Josie just kept saying, ‘Avery, look at Lisa, look at Lisa’.” A little tear of joy and pride may have run down my cheek when I read that. She is SO smart and apparently has a great memory!
If there is one thing I can say about this family, it is that they love each other well. They exude a deep and genuine love and respect for each other that I have rarely seen before.
These girls are going to be brilliant if they follow in the footsteps of their parents. Josh is the principal at the highest ranked high school in the state (go Jags) and Fran is a labor and delivery nurse. I am kind of jealous of her job…..that was my original major in college before I decided that teaching was a better fit for me. Clearly Josie is already on the right track based on the story from above.
Josh and Fran are patient, but firm, kind and loving but also have high expectations and the girls rise to that!
Okay….enough about how awesome they are. Can we talk about Avery’s hair for a minute? It reminds me of a baby bird and brings me so. much. joy. How can you not smile at this photo? Also, Fran and I share an affinity for Toms. It is one of the many reasons we are now friends.
These photos might just break the internet. I mean seriously.
Griffins, I am so thankful for you, your friendship and your ridiculously adorable family.
