I can’t believe that I am writing this blog. Seems like just yesterday we met Drew and his family at the swim club when our boys were just 7 years old. Now here we are 10 years later and Drew is a senior!
Drew’s dad is the unofficial swim team photographer and loves photography as a hobby. So they have a ton of pictures of Drew and therefore didn’t need a full-fledged senior session. Usually I don’t do mini sessions for senior pictures because it takes a while for a senior to get comfortable with me and in front of the camera. But because I have known Drew for years and he is comfortable in front of me and the camera, we did it.
Colorado was showing off that night and the lighting was perfect!
Drew is one of those kids that you want to hate. He is ridiculously smart, incredibly gifted in athletics, easy on the eyes and is good at everything he does. But you CANNOT hate this kid. In fact, he is one of the nicest kids you will ever meet. It really isn’t fair!! 😂😉
I am so thankful for his family and the fact that we get to hang out during the summer club swim season and then again in the spring during the high school boys swim season. This year we only got to hang out for one swim meet before COVID hit but it was still something. Here’s to hoping the boys get a swim season in 2021!
Amazing that we were able to get all of these pictures in about 30 minutes. Thankfully Drew is a natural (see what I mean….he is good at everything).
Drew wants to go on to be a cardiac surgeon and I am sure he will accomplish his lofty goals and save hundreds of lives. He is just that awesome. Best of luck in the rest of your senior Drew! We are rooting for you (as always).
