Aren’t you proud of me? This is a personal post and it happened only 2 weeks ago. This might not seem like a big deal but I am TERRIBLE at #1. Taking pictures of my own family. #2. Editing those photos. #3. Sharing the photos that have been edited. But I am turning a new corner. Hopefully!
We spent New Year’s at our family cabin with our good friends. It was very quiet and relaxing and full of games, good food and lounging. It was heavenly. On New Year’s day we headed out to go sledding at “the beach” in Fairplay. We always go sledding there and it is a blast. However, it was insanely crowded and we only stayed for a bit before heading back to the cabin. Then the kids dreams came true. They are finally old enough and convinced us (the moms…the dads have been on board since the beginning of time) to let them “sled” behind the car. Thankfully, we were VERY safe, went really slow and no kids were harmed in the making of these photos.
There is a nice long, straight road in front of the cabin so we just went back and forth taking turns.
Even Chris got in on the fun.
Fun was had by all.
Some cute puppy photos were also needed.
I swear it looks like Murphy is always smiling. He had fun torturing Roxie while we were up there.
She is SO fast. These pictures don’t quite capture her speed, but they are funny!
Thanks for indulging me with some personal photos! Want to see more? Check out New Year’s 2014.
