Remember the Bolos family from earlier this week? Well now it is time to highlight Julie’s sister’s family.
Julie and Lindsey went to high school with me and we were in youth group together! So many fond memories of youth group events with Lindsey especially (Julie was a little bit younger). She and Jon were dating in high school and here we are 20+ years later and they are still together and as happy as ever.
Jon and Lindsey are both essential workers (he is a firefighter and she is a pediatric nurse practitioner). I can’t imagine how difficult this last year has been for them. Thank you for all you do (and for all of the other front line workers that are doing so much right now).
I have done photos every other year for the Hodges since Libby (their youngest) was born. This year, they look SO much more grown up.
Especially Nora. She is in her teens now and practically looks like a model. I showed Jon the back of my camera for this picture and he got a little misty-eyed.
The other girls are so grown up now and I can’t believe it. They are all beauties!
These two are the best parents. So calm, loving and patient. Our sessions are always so easy and laid back. It is so refreshing.
Jon you are lucky to have so many beautiful ladies in your life.
To know them is to love them.
Julie and Lindsey booked back to back mini sessions with a little bit of overlap so we could get a few pictures of all of the cousins together (while still being socially distant).
COVID sucks for so many reasons, but Julie and Lindsey’s mom was going through chemo and Julie and her family were living with her while they were here from Ecuador. Therefore they were VERY careful about being socially distant. I can’t even imagine how hard it was for them to be in the same city together and not hug and be close! But they were willing to do it to keep their sweet mom safe. At the very end, they risked it a bit to get this sweet photo. They held their breaths, got together and I snapped this really quick. Afterwards, they said that was the first time they had touched in over 10 months and my heart broke a little bit for them. Man this virus has done a number on so many things!
Julie and Lindsey, you guys have the most beautiful families and it was joy to see you guys!
Want to walk down memory lane? Here is the last time I did the Hodges family.
