Having teenage kids and nieces and nephews has some definite benefits (for all of us).  Some people lament parenting in the teen years but I LOVE it (granted it isn’t all sunshine and roses but the good HIGHLY outweighs the bad).

Last fall I was doing mini sessions and I had one slot in the middle that didn’t get filled.  I had to be there anyway, so I asked my niece McKenzie if she wanted to bring a friend and come for some pictures.  Thankfully she said yes and we had a great time.

Pretty sure that they got the BEST lighting of the day.  #lucky

I asked them to bring some hats just for fun.

McKenzie is SO MUCH FUN and always makes me laugh.  She is a treasure.

I will continue to say this until I die…..freckles are my favorite.

Alex is a natural in front of the camera too!  Such a beauty (inside and out).  I was lucky enough to do some headshots for her mom last year.

Doing these photos was an inspiration for me and helped me start the idea of forming a rep team.  If you haven’t heard about my rep team you can read more about it here and here.  I still have 1-2 spots left if you are interested.  But HURRY!!!!  We are doing our first group shoot next weekend and that is the deadline for signing up!

Seriously ladies.  You are gorgeous and fun….a perfect combination.
