This Littleton Senior Pictures post is going to be a long one….but one that is SO good.
It is hard to know where to begin. I have known and loved this girl since she took her first breath and I am so thankful to be her aunt.
Are you jealous of her gorgeous hair….because I am.
McKenzie is so many wonderful things. She is a good friend, funny, full of life, crazy, loud, includes everyone and much more.
One of the things I love most about McKenzie is that she isn’t afraid to be herself. She knows who she is, and isn’t afraid to be that person.
Another thing I love about her is that she can laugh at herself. That is truly remarkable because sometimes teens are too afraid of impressing people or looking silly.
Keep being true to yourself Kenz.
Bear is McKenzie’s quarantine puppy and he is SO cute!
Brief pause to talk about how cute this outfit is!!! Straight from a cute boutique in Nashville when she was visiting her sister at college, this outfit shows off her fun and flirty personality.
McKenzie wanted a location that was new and different and she decided she wanted the mountains of Boulder, so I found this spot from a fellow photographer. I wish I could shoot here all the time because it was magical. This bridge was to die for!
McKenzie has been modeling for me for years, but I loved finally doing her “official” senior pictures.
Every time I do one of my nieces or nephew’s senior pictures, it is so special. I love getting one on one time with them and capturing their true personalities.
I know I am biased but I truly have the BEST nieces and nephews.
She isn’t just a pretty face. McKenzie is a good student and a rock star athlete.
Soccer is her first love but she has picked up golf the last few years too. Mostly because golf is fun and she loves to goof around on the course (while killing it as well).
Kenz also has a heart for those with special needs. She works with the challenge kids at school and is so sweet with them.
Told you she has the modeling down pat!
Her freckles are my favorite.
For some strange reason, she and her sister love Nashville and I am pretty sure that she will be heading to Tennessee in the fall for college and I am DYING! Guess that means I need to make a trip to Nashville sometime soon.
Don’t go Kenzie. We will miss your joyful spirit and contagious laugh.
At the end of our session, we headed up to the top of a nearby hiking trail to get some epic mountain shots.
We were rewarded with the most amazing colored skies. Seriously…these are not photoshopped or enhanced. The sky was purple, pink and peach and the most amazing pastels.
Just look at the joy and the sunshine that comes from within this beautiful girl.
What a fun time with my girl (and her mom).
I love you McKenzie and I love spending time with you!! Thanks for laying in the cactus and getting spikeys in your hand for this picture at the very end of our shoot. Worth it, right??
