As a Denver commercial photographer, I talk a LOT about branding. And people don’t believe me when I say that brand consistency will help you make MORE money! Here are some ways to get your brand to really work for you!
How to Be Consistent
First up, what do I mean by keeping brand consistency? It means using the same colors, fonts, messaging, and style throughout your posts and across your social media accounts. Many design apps now include a “brand” folder so you can save specific settings to easily reuse. Or, you can check out my brand book template!
Brand Recognition
But doesn’t consistency keep you from being creative? Not at all!! In fact, keeping brand consistency HELPS with brand recognition. Just think of how many brands you can associate with one particular color or font. Similarly, your potential clients should be able to see content and know instantly that it’s from you!
Professionalism & Building Trust through Brand Consistency
Having a consistent brand also helps with professionalism. Your potential customers are bombarded with advertising, and brands that aren’t putting out consistent messaging are going to be lost in the shuffle. As customers see more from you and your brand, they’ll start to develop trust in you as a professional, reputable brand.
Brand Consistency Examples
For example, say that someone finds your business through a random shuffle of the “For You” page. When they click into your Instagram account, they see similar messages delivered in the same style throughout the page. Then, a few days later, they see another video from you. They decide to investigate a bit more…
They click on your home website and they trust your company because the same logo from the profile picture is on the top of your website. When they buy your product, there’s a sticker with the same logo! The customer learns to trust and recognize your brand.
And that same customer will probably come back to you after they’ve had a good experience with your product or service. And THAT’S how brand consistency can really make you money! If you could use some help with brand consistency, I’d love to do some work with you as a Denver commercial photographer. Get in touch with me right here.
