Does anyone else feel like they are still reeling from the holidays?  I guess being out of town 3 times in the last 4 weeks has taken its toll on me!!  I am finally getting back into the swing of things and I am trying to get caught up.

First thing on my list…..blogging about this awesome family!

Stephanie and I were in the new mom’s class together when Jameson and John were babies…..9 years ago.  I loved getting to know her and I love that we have kept tabs on each other (thank you social media) even though they have moved from Colorado to California!

So earlier this fall when Stephanie said they were going to be in Colorado after Christmas and she wanted family pictures, I did a little happy dance!  I love that even though families move away, they still love Colorado pictures when they get back.  Then at the last minute, she decided to add her extended family for a late Christmas gift.  I love working with big ol’ families and seeing them interact with each other!!

 Sisters are the best!!

We went up to the Colorado Railroad Museum to do these photos.  It was so much fun!  The kids loved exploring the area and seeing all of the old trains.  

I haven’t been to CRRM in a LONG time and I have never shot there, so I had fun exploring and finding new spots as well.  Thankfully it was a fairly nice day and we weren’t too chilly!  I also loved that I could use these railroad tracks.  Usually tracks are very dangerous and so I don’t use them, but these tracks lead to nowhere so it was safe to use them!

Aren’t these two so cute??  I love when I had them pose for these I asked John “you are a lucky guy, would you marry her again”?  His immediate response was “in a heartbeat”.  I love that!!

How cool is this old box car?  I found out that we were kindred spirits and that we all love Fixer Upper and this looks like something they would use in their show.  So we had to get a picture in front of it!

I loved seeing you Stephanie and meeting all of your family.  The kids are so grown up and I can’t believe that our boys were babies together!  Surely they can’t be almost a decade already!!!
