Yay!  Exciting things have been going on over at LiLo Photography!  I have been a little bit quiet as of late, but that isn’t because I have been taking a break!  Just before Christmas I found out my website had been accidentally deleted!  If you are thinking “what the what?” then you aren’t alone.  It is a long story but I had to decide if I wanted to rebuild my old site, or scratch it and do a brand new site.  I have been wanting to update my site for a long time, but it takes so much time and effort that I didn’t want to take the plunge.  So I guess it was a good thing (#tryingtobeoptimistic) that my site was deleted so that I was forced to change things and pursue a new site design.  And as with most changes….it has been wonderful and I am kicking myself that I didn’t do it earlier!  The only down side to my new site is that it costs more….but I LOVE it and think it is totally worth it!  So thanks for sticking with me the last month while I have redesigned everything

One of the things that I love the most about my new website is that my blog is now completely integrated, wonderfully cohesive and in the same place.  It is a one stop shop!   The team at Showit has been amazing and it has actually been quite easy to navigate making my site and they also migrated my old blog over to my new site so I haven’t lost the last 6 years of my blogging!  Hallelujah!

I can’t think of better way to start off my brand new blog than with an adorable one year old girl.  I love this little gal and her parents!  I have been lucky enough to follow this family from the beginning.  I have done wedding pictures, maternity pictures and 2 newborn sessions with them.

Little Emily is SO cute.  She wasn’t super smiley for her pictures, but she is SO cute and was the perfect little model.

Isn’t this bow that Molly’s mom made adorable??  Perhaps I should contract her to make me some newborn headbands!

I bought this chair about a year ago but I never had the right occasion to use it, but I think its inaugural run was perfect for Emily’s pictures.  She isn’t quite walking yet so it was the perfect thing for her to hold onto.

Then Molly pulled out all of the stops and dressed Emily in this adorable outfit and brought balloons to match!  It was darling.

And yet….another adorable bow.  Apparently Emily thought so too.

At one point she was a little unhappy, but what is a one year old session without a few tears.? Honestly, they are usually my favorite pictures.  There is just something about them crying while all dressed up.  My favorite pictures of my kids were around Christmas when they were crying sitting on Santa’s lap.

We did a little mini session for Emily’s birthday and I loved it so much that I think I am going to start offering a Milestone Mini Session.  Meaning it would be one child (or adult….head shots anyone) for 20 minutes with 20 images for $225.  Who’s up for it??  Just message, email or comment and let me know you want to take advantage of this offer!
