Time flies when you have children.  It flies even faster when you are a photographer and you are documenting the growth of other people’s children as well.  I am constantly being reminded that we have taken another trip around the sun.

For example.  Little Ezra.  It seems like just yesterday I was in Lutheran Hospital waiting and waiting and waiting for Ezra to make his appearance.  As it would happen, Cheyenne had to have a C-Section because he was so wedged in there!!  It was my first experience being in the operating room for a C-Section and it was a thrill.

Every 4 months I have met up with Cheyenne, David and little Ezra.  And every time he blows me away with his happy and smiley demeanor.  He really is such a happy and cute baby and has made my job this last year SO easy!

These one year sessions are always so bitter sweet for me.  I love seeing how much they have grown in the last year, but it also makes me sad because I won’t see them every 4 months.

I really fall in love with my Baby’s First Year families.  Although, I have been there for every major milestone for this family (engagement, wedding, birth, etc) so I already LOVE them to pieces.

He is not walking yet but he is happy to just crawl around.  How can you not smile when looking at these pictures?

I also wanted to do a few quick mommy and me shots for this session.  Cheyenne is such a wonderful and loving mom!  I am sure that is why Ezra is so chill and happy.

Are you kidding me with this cute outfit?  Things have come a long way for boys clothing since I had my first boy 14 years ago (sob).  Although it saved me a lot of money!!

Finally it came time for the cake smash.  Just like a lot of kids, he wasn’t so sure about that cake.

But he ended up getting his hands dirty eventually.

Of course Cheyenne had the cutest outfit for him.  Bow tie and suspenders…..after my own heart.
