This summer has been so much fun as I have done a ton of senior pictures for people that I have known for YEARS!!  It has been a blast hanging out with these kids and their parents.

For example.  I have know the Kellys for longer than Lauren has been alive.  We first met at a baby shower (or a Fillhart Christmas Party) for niece Ashlynn over 17 years ago!  I don’t get to see them very often but we end up catching up once or twice a year at family events or parties.

I am like a proud auntie when it comes to this girl.  She is a BFF to my niece and she has turned out to be an incredible young lady and gorgeous as well.

These bridge pictures are my favorite!!  And they were Lauren and Stacey’s favorite too.  I loved watching Stacey get a little teary as she was looking at the pictures.  I know I am going to be a wreck when it comes time for my oldest to be a senior (it is only a few years away and I am not ready!!).

As I was editing these pictures I kept thinking that Lauren looked exactly like a young Brooke Shields.  If you don’t know who that is….then you must have skipped the 80’s.  But Lauren is stunning enough to be a super model for sure!

We had perfect weather for our session and I love that she was willing to get up early and do pictures first thing in the morning.  The lighting is always so perfect in the mornings!

I love that she brought her best friend (aka Mom) along for her session!  The mother-daughter pictures always end up being my favorite!!

She has the model face DOWN!  But she also has the cute and happy face nailed too.

Oh My Gosh.  Are you kidding me with this girl??  Look at her buff arms!!  She is so strong and does Pole Vaulting at Lutheran High School.  Isn’t that so cool!?

She is also hoping to be a vet and got into a really exclusive vet internship this summer.  I tell you what…she is the whole package my friends!  (Told you I was like a proud Auntie)

It was a little warm so neither of us minded getting into the cold water to get our feet wet.

Congratulations on your senior year Lauren.  You are going to do amazing things in this world and I can’t wait to hear all about how you are kicking butt!!
