On the 8th day of #blogmas LiLo brings to you….one of my longest (and favorite) #lilobaby families. These pictures make me smile with glee. Ethan is one of the cutest and happiest babies EVER!
I have know little Ethan since the MOMENT he was born. Because I was in the room on the moment he was born. It was such a beautiful and special moment. Even though he was their 3rd boy, it didn’t make it any less emotional or beautiful. And now….Ethan is one! Pinch me because that was the fastest year on record. Full disclosure: he is actually closer to 18 months now, but when we did the photos he was a year. I told you I was behind on blogging!
I am so thankful for the McKelvey family as I have done newborn and/or birth photos for all three of their adorable boys and I love them almost as if they were my own. They are precious. This little guy reminds me of my youngest. There is just something magnetic about the third boy and they have charisma oozing out of their pores! Pair that with the two bottom teeth and a little bit of drool….and I was dying!!
The Denver RiNo art district is a site to behold and it was so much fun to do a one year session down there.
The murals and bright colors make for an amazing backdrop!
If you go early on a Saturday morning down to RiNo, it is practically abandoned! The people down there were quite the contrast: the homeless (or still drunk from the night before) vs. the idyllic hipster millennial. It was pretty funny to see those two worlds colliding but those abandoned alleys made for great pictures! Especially if there is a cute little baby crawling around.
Might need to worry about this one guys. Only one and already bellying up to the bar and can you even with the tip toes….
At the end of our session we did a cake smash. The behind the scenes from this shot is pretty funny. The mural was amazing, but the alley reeked of urine and there was a dumpster that had some pretty questionable items nearby. We had a good laugh! Good thing I brought a blanket and we had plenty of wipes and hand sanitzer as it was pretty filthy! Here is a little behind the scenes shot for you, just so you can get the full experience.
Becky always has the best themes for her boys’ birthday parties and she brought all of the stuff from the party to make the cake smashed themed as well.
It was “The Wild Things”. How cute and creative is that? I am mad that I never thought of that for one of my kids’ parties.
Oh this boy….he has my heart.
Thanks for letting me be such a big part of your lives McKelvey family. I love you guys to pieces!
