I love seeing the same families year after year. Watching them grow up before my very eyes is a joy and honor. I did my first session with this family when Libby was a newborn…..5 years ago. I can’t believe it! Not only do I have a 5 year photography history with this sweet family, but our friendship goes back way beyond that. Lindsey and I went to high school today and she and Jon were in youth group with me so we go WAY back.
These high school sweethearts are still starry-eyed for each other. They are a great example of a godly marriage and it is a joy to be around them. They are also the kindest people you will ever meet. Lindsey is a Nurse Practitioner who works with newborns and postpartum moms and Jon is a fire fighter for Denver. I told you they were awesome.
I don’t know how they do it, but they manage to hold down 2 important and demanding jobs all the while making their four kids and family a high priority. Pretty sure they might have more hours in their day than I do (wink wink).
Aren’t these girls just the cutest?? I love that they all look like sisters, but they are also uniquely different (and beautiful).
Lindsey you #nailedit when it came to styling your family this year. Her styling is always impeccable but this year she outdid herself.
I really want to start doing more Tween sessions. I have worked with middle schoolers for years and I love the age (I know I am a bit crazy). It is amazing how much they change in both maturity and looks between the ages of 11 and 14. Perhaps this year I will start a specific program for this age group. This picture of Nora and her sweet mama was one of my favorites from this fall. They both just look so content and happy. They are going to cherish this photo for years and that gives me #allthefeels.
Of course if I am doing a mother-daughter picture I have to follow it up with a father-daughter picture.
This fall mini session was one of my favorites this year! Once again, I am overcome with gratitude for my LiLo families!
Want to walk down memory lane with the Hodges family? You can see their previous sessions with me here and here.
