Happy Monday! Are you all ready to hit the ground running in this, the last week before Christmas? I had a productive weekend and I am ready to get all of the last minute things done before spending some time with my family! Today’s blog features another mini session from this fall. I love that Stacey makes it a priority to get pictures done of her kids every year. Kids change so much (especially during the tween/teen years) and it is nice to have a yearly photo to document their changes! Even though scheduling can be tricky with older kids (Noah was a little tired from his Homecoming the night before and Anna had to go straight from our session to dance) it is important to do it!
I was lucky enough to do senior pictures for Lauren this summer! But this fall it was time for Noah and Anna to shine.
This is the second time I have photographed these two. It was easy the first time….but now they are totally comfortable with me and it made the session quick and easy with amazing results.
Photogenic would be the perfect word to describe this family!
Let’s also discuss talent. Anna is a dancer…and a really good one. Despite a knee injury (I think it was a cracked kneecap) she was able to pull off this photo. And it is one of my all-time favorites!!!
Noah is a pole vaulter. He and his sister comprise the entire pole-vaulting team at their high school but he also has mad flipping skills. He pulled off this standing back flip with no problem.
These kids (and the entire family) are gems. Truly they are some of the best people you will ever meet. I am thankful for their friendship (over 20 years) and that they allow me to be a part of the family through photography.
