I have been lucky enough to capture three sets of newborn pictures for this sweet family. I also captured their beautiful wedding day!
The best part…..Molly’s mom gave them this photography session as a Christmas/baby gift. Isn’t that the best idea ever? Look at this sweet face.
When I showed up at their doorstep I was sad to hear that much of the family had been sick. It was the height of cold and flu season and it had wreaked havoc on this poor family. Thankfully this boy was in perfect health (and has perfect eyelashes).
Needless to say they had been up a lot the night before between the baby and the other sick kids. There is great joy that comes with babies, toddlers and parenthood, but also comes much sleep deprivation.
However, they held it together, the kids did really well and we got some great pictures. We didn’t get a ton of sibling pictures as the kids were a little under the weather, but that is life with littles.
Little Oliver was a rock star and thankfully he didn’t get the sickness from his siblings. Apparently he kept himself awake too long. Look at that cute yawn.
Is there anything cuter than a little boy with a hat and pajamas? Nope!
Oliver charmed me from the start, but this little smile put me over the edge.
It took a little while for Oliver to succumb to sleep but once he did, he was OUT!
I have had so many boy babies lately. I think I did 3 newborn boy session in 3 weeks. Good thing I have lots of practice with boys!
You know that babies are my favorite and you know that flannel is my favorite so I MUST combine them, right?!
They always make for my favorite pictures of the session.
All wrapped up and cozy. He loved being all warm and snuggly.
Welcome to the family Oliver. You are well loved and you are going to love being a part of this family! Tim and Molly, I am so thankful for you and I love spending time with you and your family. I hope you are all getting some much deserved sleep!!
Need even more of a baby fix? Check out my newborn session with Graham or my session with Archie.
