Remember this sweet girl from her birth blog a few weeks ago? Her mama was strong and was able to sucessfully do a VBAC after having a C-Section with her first baby. If you haven’t read it, hit pause and go check out that post.
Oh my heart. This girl already has me wrapped around her chubby little fingers.
Cheyenne wanted to get a few pictures of the hospital blanket, which I loved. I don’t usually do that in the in-home newborn sessions but I am so glad we did. They are some of my favorites from this session.
I have had a big string of baby boys so it was a treat to have a little girl to dress up! It was hard to narrow down what to use, but this turquoise with her dark hair was perfection!
See this cute little flannel blanket? It is two sided. There is a blue/green side (which we used for Emberly’s big brother) and a pink/purple side that we used for Emberly. I made this blanket years ago but this is the first time I have been able to use both sides for siblings!
She was an absolute ANGEL during our session. I was able to get so many different pictures because she was so sleepy and content.
Look at all of her hair. She even has hair on her shoulders and it is to die for. Probably the only time a girl can have hairy shoulders and be “cute” at the same time, right!
Each session I have one or two that become my new favorite. These pictures are my new favorite newborn girl pictures. I am not sure what it is, but I love the pink and the fur in the background (and she was so smiley). Seriously, I could gaze at these all day.
Cheyenne and David are so easy going and they give me freedom to do whatever I want without too many requests. So when Cheyenne requested that they wanted some pictures on their bed…I was happy to comply.
I think I need to order this saying to go above my bed.
I am so glad we did these pictures. Family pictures on the bed are my FAVORITE and these four souls are some of my favorites as well so it makes for beautiful pictures. Plus with Ezra’s smile…these are going to be hard to beat.
Cheyenne said that her bedroom is her favorite place in the house and it brings her joy and calms her heart. I can see why.
Just the girls. Doesn’t this photo just give you all the feels?
Seriously. This whole session is my new favorite.
And just in case you were worried. Here is the foot shot. (I always have to include a foot picture….or two).
Congratulations Garlick family. Your little Emberly is a gem and I can’t wait to see her grow in the next year!! If you want to see more of this amazing family, check out Ezra’s newborn pictures or their maternity pictures.
