I almost never get to do senior pictures in the winter or fall. So it was a real treat to work with Anthony for his senior pictures last fall.
His school knows where it is at and their senior pictures weren’t due until December 1st. So we had plenty of time to get the pictures done and so fall worked well for them!
Don’t get me wrong…I love the warm glow of summer and the bright colors and flowers, but fall is my favorite season. I do tons of family sessions in the fall, but rarely do any senior pictures and that is a tragedy! Anthony is the PERFECT model. I mean seriously….can you ask for anything more? He even wore flannel which is my favorite!
As I was editing these photos, all I could think of was how much these looked like an album cover. Don’t you think?
Lakewood Heritage Center is one of my favorite places for senior pictures. There are a bunch of old buildings and tons of different backdrops that make for interesting pictures. Check out this cool old diner.
The only downside to fall senior pictures….snow. We had to postpone our session one day because a snowstorm rolled in and ruined our plans. Thankfully we were both free the next day and it totally worked out. And we even got some of that beautiful snow in the background of our photos. The white, snowy background makes his brown eyes even more like liquid chocolate, don’t you think?
Here is another cool structure at the Lakewood Heritage Center. I love the leading lines in these photos.
When you pair this blue tile wall with a simple white t-shirt…the results are like magic. The vintage feel can’t be beat and the simplicity of these images is to die for.
The bridge is always one of my favorite places to take pictures. And once again, this proved to be true.
You aren’t going to believe this….but this is Anthony’s mom. She is so young and beautiful that it is hard to believe, right!? Not fair!
Anthony I wish you the best of luck in your pursuit to be an RN. You are a wonderful young man and I can’t wait to see where life takes you!
