Memory making sessions have a special place in my heart. I loved getting an email from Emily asking me to do a photo session as a gift for her extended family while they were all in town for Christmas.
At the time I didn’t realize that I knew everyone in her family (except for her….isn’t that funny). Matt’s dad was the pastor that married us and was a huge influence on both my husband and myself. Also, my husband was Matt’s youth leader in high school. I had no idea that Matt’s wife was the daughter of an amazing couple from our church.
It all came full circle when I was able to meet up with this amazing extended family.
Emily wanted to gift her in-laws (Tim and Stephanie) with a photo session. What a great idea! So while they were all here celebrating Christmas, I came over and did some family pictures. It was pretty chilly outside so we did many of the photos inside their beautiful house.
We braved the cold for a bit so we could get a few outdoor pictures as well. Thanks for hanging in there guys!
Look at these beautiful granddaughters.
Pretty sure Evelyn is 10 going on 18. Don’t you think?
After getting our “formal” pictures, we headed inside to do the fun part! The kids love to make cookies with Grandma so I captured the fun.
This part of our session made me so happy. I know that EVERYONE is going to look at these photos with joy for years to come. I kind of want to do photos like this for everyone I know!
Stephanie is the mom and grandma that everyone dreams of! This family is so lucky to have her.
The aftermath.
Great idea for a gift Emily! This session brought joy to all involved and I would love to capture more sessions like this one! And Tim and Stephanie….you have a beautiful and amazing family. You should be proud!
