It has been a little while since I have done a maternity session and I have missed doing them!!!   Babies and bellies have always had my heart.  I love the rounded bellies and the new life growing within them.  I still regret never having maternity photos done with any of my boys!!!  If I could turn back time (along with Cher) I would totally do both maternity and birth pictures with at least one of my kids!  Don’t be like me.  Don’t regret it a few years down the road.

Thankfully this amazing family won’t have any of that regret!

Stephanie is beautiful any time but add that pregnancy glow and it become magical!

When she showed up in this beautiful lace maternity dress, I just about swooned.  Seriously, if you are going to do maternity pictures, you might as well feel like a goddess, right?!

You guys.  This family is SO photogenic. And you can just feel their love for this new baby.

Their first “professional” picture as a family of four.

Little Adelaide is going to be a big sister and she is going to be amazing.  She loved sitting with her mama and playing with and kissing the baby!  It was adorable.

I bet her new sister is going to be just as cute.  I can’t wait to meet this new little girl.

Ken Caryl Valley is one of my favorite places to take pictures.  You get the beauty of the foothills and the red rocks without the crowds at the actual Red Rocks.  It is a win/win.  Isn’t it gorgeous here?

The setting sun made this glowing mama-to-be even more glowing.  Colorado was showing off!

Near the end, Stephanie changed into a more casual outfit and I loved this one too!  I love seeing the belly more pronounced and seeing that outie belly button!

Poor little Adelaide took a spill near the end of the session and scraped her little knee.  Thankfully I am a mom and I am always prepared.  I had bandaids and candy in my bag and they worked like a charm.  She was a total trooper and there was no worse for the wear.

A few snuggles from mom is the best medicine though.

This family is one of my favorites and I can’t wait to meet the newest member of the Eims family!
