Are you ready for one of my all-time favorite families?? I know I say that a lot, but it’s like my children….they are all my favorite!!
But this family has wormed their way into my heart for several different reasons.
#1. They are adorable. I don’t need to tell you that, you just have to look at them.
#2. Joel is like a Lego Master builder and he can just whip something up from scratch with a few pieces of scrap that he has laying around. At Ethan’s 2 year session, he built a super cute tipi. This time Amanda had a vision for a swing….and Joel (who is a wonderful and loving husband) said “yes dear” and made it happen. Isn’t this the coolest prop you have ever seen?
#3. Amanda always has great vision for our sessions (remember last year when Emma was dressed up like Rosie the Riveter?). She brings cute props and outfits and they bring our already awesome sessions to a whole new level! Not only did she bring the swing, but she brought this whole set up so Emma could sit with her favorite animals and do some reading.
#4. We have become friends. I love that Amanda trusts me with her family photos every year and that I have been working with them for 3 years now. Saying goodbye at the end of our sessions is always sad as I always wish we had more time to catch up and chat. It is like doing pictures for an old friend even though we have only known each other for a few years. I truly cherish them!
And if that isn’t enough….they let me keep this adorable swing and I used it for another client a few weeks later (and I let another photographer who was in the same area use it when I was done….community over competition). It is still in my garage if anyone wants me to bring it to their next session!
Emma is just as cute as can be. I just about died over this lace dress and cowboy boots. Once again…can you say dream client!?
Also, I asked Emma how old she was. She showed me that she was two with her fingers. 😂😂😂
Let’s not forget about this handsome boy. Ethan is the sweetest (and cutest) boy that I have worked with. I just love him to pieces.
He has the best serious look, don’t you think! Pretty good for a 5 year old.
❤
This year is going to be hard to beat with all of this beautiful light (not to mention the adorable swing and adorable kids)!!!
Better start planning for next year Amanda. I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
