Downtown Littleton has always been one of my favorite places to take family photos! There is so much variety within a few blocks and it is so charming.
I first met this family last year when they won a session from me at an auction. Our session last year was unbelievable and I was so thankful that they came back again this year.
They are the cutest family and from the moment we met, we had a connection. So seeing them again was even better than the first time!
We hopped around downtown Littleton finding fun little nooks and crannies.
One of my favorite things to do to help keep kids involved and therefore willing to smile for pictures, is to let them choose their location and or pose. It helps break down walls and makes the session more fun for everyone. Braden loved this area and loved showing off his “floss”. He is quite the little model and it is hard to believe that he is only 10 as he is very mature for his age.
I think it is time we take a little pause and talk about how adorable Bailey is with her unicorn headband. And of course, she had a matching unicorn-llama mask. At least masks are cute and let us show personality, right? She is also in the running for a model, don’t you think? Those eyes!
This stairway is a favorite of mine. I wish every location had a cool staircase like this that was always in the shade and always had good lighting. It would make my job so much easier!
It isn’t a 2020 photoshoot unless you have a mask picture, right? So cliche, but such a sign of the times. We will look back at these photos and say “remember when we all had to wear masks everywhere we went”.
Pretty sure this is my favorite sibling picture of 2020. It just has so much warmth, love and laughter and is true to life.
And how about these pictures with their parents? Bailey is a daddy’s girl so of course we had to capture that.
I love how relaxed and at ease these guys are with each other, and with me. It made for such a fun afternoon in Littleton.
This is where I told Bailey we were going to make some photography magic. There was a tiny flower bed on the street outside of a brewery on Main Street. I told her to sit on the curb and I would make some photography magic. It is all about perspective. This photo was taken on Main Street with tons of people walking by. You would never know, right!?
Thanks Elli, Scott, Braden and Bailey. I had a blast with you again. Let’s do it again next year!
