Are you lucky enough to have friends that have become family?  You know….framily?  If you don’t, then you need to find some.  Seriously.  The best place to look is your neighborhood.  They are likely to have kids your kids’ ages and they are close in proximity.  DO IT!  Find a fun family that you think is cool and pursue them!

I am so thankful that we found our framily.  We started off slow 12 years ago when our boys were in Kindergarten together.  And then after years of playdates, hanging at the neighborhood pool and lots of time invested….we have become framily and I can’t even begin to tell you how much their friendship means to us.  We have been through job losses, medical scares, parenting struggles, heart ache and the good stuff like vacations, holidays, weekends away, late night laughs and lots of card games.

I beg you to find a better family than this one.  Or a more talented one.  You should check out their Etsy shop.

I did pictures for them a few years ago and we got Vicki with the girls and Paul with the boys, but we forgot to get Vicki with all of the kids and Paul with all of the kids.  So naturally, we had to remedy that this year!

2020 was a pretty rough year for this family, but I have a feeling that 2021 is going to be a good one.  Especially as they are adding a new family member in June.  Welcome to the framily Andrew!!

These two celebrated 25 years of marriage last year.

They have a marriage that is to be envied and is an example for all of us!

They also have four really amazing kids.

Clearly they love their kids fiercely.  And Paul, I am sorry to say, you are losing the height battle!

These girls.  Feisty, fun, sweet, caring and never a dull moment and GORGEOUS.

Maddie…it really isn’t fair that you look like a super model.  Hard to believe that I have been taking pictures of you since your 16th birthday.

Thanks for being our framily.  It was destiny that the Church family and the Lord family should be BFFs, right?!  Love you guys.
