As I have been looking back, I realized that I never shared these photos from last spring. Time to share them now!
Each year my sister and I get the kids together and do a photo session for my mom for Mother’s Day. In 2019, we missed it! Between the two of us, we have 8 kids and it can sometimes be really difficult to get all of the kids together, especially as they are getting older and have jobs and activities. 2020 made it SO MUCH EASIER. We were in lockdown so no one was going anywhere!
Thankfully we live very close to each other and spent a fair amount of time over quarantine together. When it came time to go do photos for my mom, everyone was available! It is funny looking back on these now…..everyone had quarantine hair! With none of the salons open, we either didn’t get haircuts or we did them ourselves!
These 8 kids are pretty awesome and I am so thankful they get to grow up together.
I love this tradition and I can’t believe we have been doing yearly photos (minus one year) for the last 16 years. There is never a dull moment and we laugh together a lot.
Julie and Levi’s kids.
Our kids (including our little Roxie who also desperately needed a haircut).
I have a feeling that 2021 is going to be much more difficult to do photos. Now that everything is opening back up again and things have been shifted and postponed everyone is BUSY! Also, 5 of the 8 kids have jobs which makes scheduling pretty tricky.
We love you mom and we are so thankful to have you as our mom/nana. You make everything special and we love doing these pictures for you every year. Want to see more of these from the past? Check out 2018 and 2014.
[…] It was so cold but we managed to get SO many photos in about 20 minutes! Good thing I work quickly. Also, good thing these guys have all been in front of my camera SO many times. They knew exactly what to do. Want to see more of my family pictures? Here are the 2020 Nana pictures. […]
