She was born at the beginning of quarantine (actually just before the world shut down) when everything was unknown and scary! Therefore we didn’t get to do a full newborn session. So instead, we did a little mini session when she was 3 months old and then another mini session when she was 9 months old. It was a great alternative and I loved getting to see this little beauty twice in one year!
Maia was a little stingy with the smiles last time (as I was pretty much one of only 10 people she had ever seen in her entire life) but this time she pulled out all of the stops!
Can you even with this outfit? Pair that with some chunky thighs and it is a match made in heaven. I was swooning during this entire session.
Stanley came along for this shoot too and he is one of the gentlest and most obedient dogs I have ever met. Such a sweetheart with Maia and these images are some of my favorite.
Clearly these three are head over heels for each other.
I could have stayed all day and taken pictures of these guys. They are quickly becoming favorites for SURE!
This one takes my breath away a little bit. Babies don’t keep and I miss my babies being this small.
Every time I look at photos like this I thank my lucky stars that I get to do what I do. Capturing the little moments, the big moments and everything in between is a joy that I don’t take for granted.
