Even churches need beautiful and professional, commercial photos. I love being a Denver Branding Photographer, especially when I get to do it for the church I grew up in.

Back To My Church Roots

I grew up at this church, committed my life to Jesus here, was baptized and married in this church. We did a church plant over 20 years ago and therefore no longer go to church here, but my heart still has so much joy for this place.

Church Rebrand

Earlier this year, Southern Gables Church rebranded to become Southwest Community Church and therefore wanted me to come take pictures to update their website and social media. I lead the photography team at my church, so I have had a lot of practice capturing church images. Sometimes it can be tricky with the lighting, but practice always helps!

Commercial Church Photos

Every church needs a constant flow of images for their website and social media. Things went so well with our first capture, they had me come back a few months later to show off all of their branding changes and to capture even more images. I couldn’t believe the difference. They have done such a great job with their branding, decor and creating a consistent vibe all throughout their messaging, building and website. It feels so welcoming and fresh in there.

Cohesive Staff Photos

All companies, even churches need to have their staff represented on their website. The more consistent and cohesive these photos are, the better! It may not seem like this would be something that a church would need to focus on, but in this day and age 90% of people visit a church’s website before they ever step foot inside the church. So having up-to-date and professional photos is a necessity.

Southwest Community Church, thank you for being so influential in my walk with God and for having me be a part of your church family again, even for a few days. Capturing these images was like coming home again and it was amazing to reconnect with people and to see so many familiar faces.
