While I have photographed a lot of baptisms at our church, I have never done an infant baptism. So Noah’s baptism at St. Francis this summer was a treat.
I thoroughly enjoyed visiting a new church and seeing how other people worship God. How cool that we worship the same God, but we just have different traditions and ways of expressing our worship.
Noah was so relaxed that he fell asleep and slept through the majority of the service. He woke up when the water was poured on his head….but he didn’t even fuss!
This is my favorite picture of the day! I loved how proud and happy the priest looked as he paraded and showed off Noah to the congregation. It was so sweet.
Clearly these two adore each other. How cute is this photo that I captured at the end of the service??
This adorable family also has the most amazing and supportive family and friends. Having a supportive group at church is SO important. We are lucky enough to have this as well and I am so incredibly grateful to have them by our side!
Look how many kids they all have! How fun that they get to grow up together.
Not only did I love “working” at church, but I also loved meeting this sweet family.
Kathleen and I have been “friends” on Instagram for a while, but this was the first time we met. Isn’t it funny how you can be friends with someone and not ever have met. It is like we are social media pen pals!
What a joy to capture this special event in the life of this family. Kathleen….thanks for having me along to capture it for you and for being my Instagram Pen Pal. I love our conversations!
