Buckle up because this is going to be a long post. #sorrynotsorry
This session is full of bright colors and an even brighter young lady!
I have known this sweet girl and her amazing family for a few years and I am so grateful I got to capture her Denver Senior Pictures.
Aly wanted something a little different than the typical senior pictures and wanted something fun and bright. Mission accomplished.
I grinned from ear to ear during this entire session. How could you not with a cute face like this??
She wanted swings and a park so I did some research and found this park in Denver. I am always a little nervous to shoot at a location I haven’t scoped out ahead of time. However, this park was UNBELIEVABLE and didn’t disappoint!
These bright colors make for fun photos!
For as long as I have known Aly, she always has on fun socks and her nickname is Aly-cat, so it was only fitting that she wore long cat socks for her senior pictures.
Her number one request was pictures on the slide. Pretty sure we nailed it!
It was about 100 degrees out the day we did photos. Thankfully Aly kept her cool and pulled off pictures in the heat…in a sweater and long socks. I was sweating just looking at her.
Aly’s mom followed my advise to the letter and invested in professional hair and makeup. It makes such a difference, especially if you have an expert like Bree! Even with the heat, her hair and makeup remained PERFECT without looking overdone. I highly recommend investing in professional hair and makeup as it makes you feel more confident and they know exactly how to make you look camera ready.
When Aly saw these pictures she felt so beautiful and confident. That is exactly how I want seniors to feel during and after their session.
I have to give props to Aly for these pictures. The park was quite crowded while we were there and there was a group of teenage boys watching us do these photos on the slide. She never even batted an eye or acted nervous. Not sure I could have done the same. Well done girl!
The park is called Paco Sanchez park and they have a big sign that says P-A-C-O. I thought it would be fun to get a picture of Aly with the A. Get it??? So I told her to go get into the A-hole. And then I realized what I had said and we couldn’t keep it together for the rest of the session. So here is Aly in the A-hole.
Isn’t she just so cute? Can we all agree that Aly has the best style? So much fun and creativity!!!
Want to see what moms do at the session? They do what they always do…schlep, help, carry, support, and ooooo and ahhhh. Moms are a must-have at senior sessions. Thanks for all of the help Annie! You made this session so much fun. Also peep the changing tent that I bring to all my senior sessions. It is a life saver and makes changing outfits so quick and easy at ANY location.
No wonder why she wanted to do pictures at a park. She is full of color and fun!
It wasn’t all just t-shirts and cat socks. She wanted to class it up and do some fancy pics too!
This park just kept on giving…..can you believe how cool this wall is.
I am coming back here again. Who’s in??
Last, but certainly not least, Aly wanted some pictures on a swing. Done and done.
Thanks for such a fun session guys. I am so glad you forced me out of my “usual” locations and helped me find this gem of a spot.
Aly, you are a beauty and I am so thankful that I got to be a part of your senior year.
