Denver’s River North (RiNo) art district is always a good spot for Denver Senior Pictures.

Jessie is just as cool as she looks! She was ultra laid back and so much fun to work with.

She has a passion for art, which made the graffitied streets of RiNo a perfect fit for her senior session.

Downtown Denver can sometimes be tricky because it is so crowded. The best way to combat that is….shoot in the morning. It is always quiet and abandoned and makes for better photos (plus you can also find a parking spot, unlike in the evenings).

I have always wondered how the artists made these murals. During this session we were able to find out the answer to that question. The artist was working on completing this mural while were were there. It was 8:00 in the morning and he was on a 20 foot scaffolding drinking a beer, smoking a cigarette (or something else…) and bopping around to music while he spray painted. It was INSANE. I was a little worried he was going to jump right off while dancing, but he managed to do all of that AND create art at the same time.

Not only is Jessie kind, sweet and beautiful, she is a kind soul. So this mural was 100% appropriate. I say this to my kids all the time.

Sometimes the funkiest places make for the coolest pictures. I saw this gate to a parking garage and knew it would make for a cool picture. Her yellow jacket also made it that much better. Also, peep the matching converse. I died when I saw them, because you know how I feel about fun shoes!!!

Wish I could pull off cute, funky hair like this. She makes it look so good!

Jessie also has another hidden talent. She is a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Needless to say I felt safe roaming the streets of downtown with her by my side.

Not only that, she is also an instructor for 3 year olds in Tae Kwon Do. Can’t you just picture her adorable little students hanging on her every word and movement?

Not even sure what to do with this. Should I be jealous or wincing?? Let’s just say, I am in awe.

Jessie, you could be a model. You have so many talents!!
