I have been taking pictures of this family since they were a new family of 4 and now they are a cute family of 6. Gosh how time flies!
Beyond that, I have known Dave and Ashley since before they were married.
And now they have 4 kids!!
Ashley always does newborn pictures with each kid and then one year pictures. She always has a cute theme and the cutest clothes for the kids. Stanley turned one this summer and therefore I got to catch up with these guys for some Denver Family Photos.
Originally we were planning to go to Dinosaur Ridge for Stanley’s one year pictures, but they closed early that day. It left me scrambling for a place to do pictures, but we found this cool underbridge and path at a nearby park. I am going to have to come back here because it was one of my favorite summer locations and wasn’t crowded at all!
Look at how cute these two blue-eyed kids and two brown-eyed kids are. Funny how they look so much alike, yet so different! Also, Gabriel with his missing front teeth….too cute to handle.
Is it just me or do the middle children always have the most personality?
I love photographing big families. So many fun combinations!
I always strive to get lots of “mom” pictures because moms are usually the ones taking pictures and often are bad about getting IN them. Ashley is such a great mom and you can feel the love in these photos.
This snuggly photo of Ashley and Eleanor with her crinkled nose gives me all the feels.
Don’t get me wrong…dad pictures are important too!! Dave is such a hands-on dad and it warms my heart.
Gabriel practically looks like a teenager in this pictures, don’t you think?
Now that the kids are a little bit older, they are much more cooperative and willing to sit still for photos. But having 3 active boys (and an active little girl) under the age of 8 can be tricky. However, they were so good for the photos and we got so many great pictures!
Ashley needed an updated headshot and I am always happy to help out and make sure you get any and all photos that you might need! Make sure you ask me if you need a specific shot during your family picture session. Isn’t she just gorgeous??
Rosemans, thanks for being faithful friends and clients for so many years. I love seeing you and your adorable kiddos.
At the very end of the session, we happened upon something I had never seen before! We saw a bug dragging a GIANT spider along the ground. It was easily the largest spider I have ever seen (with the body of the spider being the side of a 1/2 dollar) and the fact that this other bug was dragging it along was so impressive and creepy. Sorry if this photo gives you the heeby-jeebies.
