On the second day of #blogmas LiLo brings to you…..
Emily and her sweet family. Seriously. This family is one of my favorites. They are just good people and you want to hang out with them.
We have known this family for years as our kids swim on summer club swim team together (and did DU Tops Swim team for a few years as well). They are like a rays of sunshine.
I was so excited when Ashley asked me to do senior pictures for Emily and then over the moon when she decided to add the entire family to the session as well. It is totally the way to go! I know it can seem overwhelming to do them at the same time but everyone always says how happy they are that they did it once it is over.
With college around the corner it is a great time to update your family pictures. The middle years are so tough with kids’ schedules and sports (not to mention the cost of those things) that pictures often get bumped down on the priority list. But those middle years….the kids change so much! So make it a priority and get family pictures done!
I always like to start with the family pictures first. Then everyone gets comfortable (especially the senior) and when we are done, the family gets to leave and mom and the senior stick around to do more pictures. They wanted a “Colorado” backdrop and I think we nailed it.
This one is my favorite.
Look at Hunter. I remember him as a tiny little guy….but that is no longer the case. He is giving Bret a run for his money in the height department.
The Froehners all stuck around and helped/watched Emily for her senior session. Normally it makes the senior nervous to have people watching them (even if it is family) but this family is close and it is clear that they love to spend time together. Emily loved having them around and they helped me get really good smiles out of her!
Look at this girl. She has a heart of gold and is the sweetest thing!
These pictures are bringing me back to the warmth of summer. Which is wonderful especially on a chilly day like today!
Then Emily changed into this shirt and it was my favorite. I am not sure why, but the colors are perfect for her and they matched the environment so well.
We went to Bear Creek Lake Park and it is one of my favorite locations. There is such great variety there! Isn’t this dock the best?
Look how green and lush it was!
Emily has always loved swimming so we had to incorporate that into her pictures. She swims for Columbine during the school year and then for Governor’s Ranch in the summer.
After Bear Creek Lake Park, we hopped over to Morrison because Emily wanted some pictures in front of this license plate wall. These are my favorite too!
This is a favorite location for seniors. I get requests for it all the time. You can see why, right?!
We even had Hunter sneak back in for a few brother/sister pictures. I am so glad they all stuck around to the end.
Thank you for allowing me to be your photographer and friend Froehner family. I love you guys!
