I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the 25th day of blogging than with a BIG ol’ family session.
I first met this amazing family a few years ago when I did extended family pictures for them. It is an honor when families come back to me again and again!
Last time we did photos Theo was the only kid in the family. But move over Theo…..because Emmy is now here too! She had a health scare when she was a baby, but she is catching up quickly and is as sweet as can be!
Isn’t she just a doll with that blonde hair and blue eyes!?
This family is such a joy and both times when we finished the session I was sad it was over because I wanted to spend more time with them. I am so glad we were able to get so many great combinations during our time together.
Thankfully with my new business model I was able to meet with Kay, Chris and Courtney again to show them the pictures. They all cried when they saw them (and I got a little teary as well). I never used to see people’s reaction to their pictures and it made me sad. Now I love meeting with families again after the photos are done. Plus I get to hang out with them more and get to know them even better!
Kay and Ted just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary a few months ago. I couldn’t believe it when I heard that! They must have been babies when they got married because they both still look so young and spry!
This family is so tight and I love it.
Don’t you even get a little teary looking at these photos? Their love is so obvious.
We did a picture like this last time when Theo was about Emmy’s age and it was one of my favorites from their session. Naturally we had to recreate it!
Theo is such a little ham.
Best Auntie award goes to…….Chris. She LOVES this kids so much and obviously spends a lot of time doting on them. Being an Aunt is the best.
What a joy this year’s pictures were! I can’t wait to see them again in a year or two to do this all over again!
