I don’t know how it happened, but in my blogging absence, I missed telling you about this amazing family!

When my oldest son, Makai,  started 7th grade at D’Evelyn, he didn’t know very many kids.  One of the first kids I started hearing about was Keller.  They have now been friends for 4 years and they have created a great friend group.  Now even the parents are friends and we hang out together.  I am so thankful!

Summer was winding down when we did our photos and the weather had been severe that day.  With Colorado, the weather can change in an instant so it is tough to plan.  We waited and waited until the last minute and decided to go for it!

It was a bit chilly and windy, but you would never be able to tell.  These guys were troopers.

They brought along Olive and she was a perfectly well behaved dog!  I couldn’t believe how well she minded and at how she sat perfectly still for the photos.  She was a dream to work with!  Isn’t she cute???

#boymom  We have to stick together!

Melanie just started a new career in real estate last year and she is KILLING it!  Way to go Melanie!  Is is so fun to see and support other mamapreneurs!

Aren’t these two the cutest?  They have been together for more than 20 years!

Thank goodness our kids are in the same activities at D’Evelyn so we get to hang out together!  These boys are also really into acting and theater.  Now if we could just get them into our theater group so we could see even more of them!!

Melanie wanted Red Rocks and the Denver Skyline in the photos, so we found this great location.  Never having shot there I was a bit nervous, but as you can see…..it was beautiful and I am definitely going back!

Thanks for always being friendly faces at school activities and including our family in your friendly get-togethers!  We love hanging out with you guys!
