This family is near and dear to my heart in so many ways!
My sister, Julie, is the best and all who know her love her energy, hard work and FUN spirit.
A few years ago she remarried and she and her new husband, Levi, created a beautiful blended family that we now affectionately call “The Sculkey Family” (Scullion and Luebcke mashed together).
It is never a dull moment at their house, especially with 5 kids all in different sports and activities.
Blending a family has never been easy but these two have done a beautiful job!
These two…..they are quite the pranksters. Just a few weeks ago I found a plastic snake in my toilet. My husband is deathly afraid of snakes and they tried to get him.
Don’t even get me started on how one summer they snuck into my back yard when everyone was asleep (except for me) and scared the 💩 out of me. I still need to get them back for that one.
My nephew is dating the sweetest girl EVER….so naturally she had to be included in the picture. The more kids, the better….right?!
It is a little strange how much these two look alike. Noah you are dating a taller version of your sister 🤣.
Levi makes my sister laugh and smile and supports her and I am so thankful that he brought me an extra niece and nephew too!
Lucas and Lyla are sweet kids who are smart and extremely athletic.
Julie is a great mom (to all the kids) and has been my biggest help when it comes to motherly advise.
I pause this gushy blog post to share with you a few quick posing tips. Ladies….always try to create space in your arms. It makes you look skinnier. Check out the photo on the left. Then I had Julie put a bend in her elbow to create space and look how much more flattering it is!
One more for you. Make sure everyone is touching and is as close together as possible. See in the first photo how poor Lyla looks like the long-lost child? I had her move closer so she looks like a part of the family again!
I had to include this funny one. Do you see it??
Now back to the regularly scheduled blog. How beautiful is my niece, Adah? She is like pure sunshine on a rainy day.
Boy/girl. The boys may or may not have been laughing at the image I took right before this one. Let’s just say there were some inappropriate hand gestures.
I love these kids and I am so thankful that they call me Auntie. I am so proud of each and every one of them and I am so thankful that my kids are growing up 10 houses away from their cousins.
They are one, amazing family. The End.
