I keep pinching myself that I get to photograph special families like this one.
I first met this beautiful family a few years ago and they touched my heart. So when Kacie contacted me to get updated pictures, I was over the moon! Kevin has some special needs and I love being able to provide images for them that they love even with his physical limitations.
Not only have I now photographed them twice but they also attend our church so I get to see them more often (although COVID has messed with that a little bit). Connor (their middle guy) and Jameson (my youngest) are in the same grade and therefore they get to hang out at youth group and church. He is such a great kid who takes care of his brother and sister so well. ❤
Disabilities, foster care, caring for extended family members, you name it and they have done it with love, grace and beauty. You can feel the love and inclusivity of this family just pouring through these images.
Kacie, you are a rock star for pulling all of these adorable outfits together and getting everyone on board for photos.
Carlos and Kacie, you guys are to be praised. Your love and family are an inspiration.
These sweet faces say it all. The road may have been tough at times, but you guys make it look easy and beautiful.
Such happy and well adjusted kids.
These images just make me want to cry with joy. Aren’t these the pictures that all moms want? Especially at the end of the day when they are tired, worn down and feeling the weight of motherhood.
Can you believe that we got all of these beautiful images in about 20 minutes! It helps that we know each other and have worked together in the past.
