Usually you don’t think of winter as the best time for family photos.  But this year I did several “winter” sessions and they are some of my all-time favorite photos!  This is the beautiful Kriederman family.

I like to think of Lisa as my own personal meteorologist.  She works for the National Weather Service and I love that when we plan our sessions she knows EXACTLY what the weather is going to be like (down to the hour and minute).  Sometimes I even message her when I have weather questions and it makes me so happy.

She knew the light would be perfect for our session and boy was she right!

I have taken so many pictures in this area over the years, but because it was winter and the water was SUPER low we were able to get on the river bed and take pictures with these beautiful rocks, the river and the sun in the background.  It was so gorgeous that a few days later I took my own kids there to do a quick session.

Last time I saw this family little Quinn was an only child.  Now she is so big and in school.  I can’t believe it!  I bet next time I see her she will have a few less teeth.

Now they have sweet Ruby.  Doesn’t she just look like a Ruby?  This little girl captured my heart.  Quinn already had my heart so now it is completely gone!

This beautiful lady is Adriana, their au pair.  She is from Brazil and was heading back home after being with them for quite some time.  I love that they wanted to include her in the pictures before she left.

Clearly the girls are enamored with her.

Mom and Dad pictures are my favorite.  It just showcases the love they share.

Do you think that they knew she was going to have red hair when they named her Ruby….or was that just a happy surprise.  Either way, now I want a daughter named Ruby.

Dying.  I am dead.

And then there is this little ray of sunshine complete with a cute little nose wrinkle.

If this doesn’t melt your heart you might be dead inside.

I got so many cute sister pictures.  They are going to be so thankful for these in the future.

Lisa, let’s not make it 4 years between sessions next time!  These girls are too cute not to document more often!
