Senior picture season is my favorite! I love meeting new faces and catching up with old friends. Makenna is a brand new face to the LiLo family. She joined my Rep Team this year and I am so thankful. Her quiet beauty and her willingness to jump into a group of strangers made her a vital member of my team. These pictures are from my group sessions in February and July. We have another one coming up in October and I can’t wait! If you are interested in being a part of my Rep Team, check this out and mark your calendars for January 2022 when I will be opening enrollment.
Commercial over…back to Makenna’s Littleton Senior Pictures.
Rompers are back in style and I am here👏 for 👏it 👏.
We did these pictures at Bear Creek Lake Park and it is probably my favorite location for senior pictures. Minus the mosquitoes. I can live without those.
This photo reminds me a tiny bit of Honey I Shrunk The Kids with the tall grass. Right?!
The natural beauty of girls these days is AWESOME! I love the simple hair and makeup and the fact that I can focus on their natural gorgeousness. Look at Makenna’s beautiful curls and big brown eyes. 😍
I think she looks like a jungle princess in this one. You would never know we are in the middle of a semi-arid desert!
See what I mean about this location. We found this little shack (literally it is a little shack on the side of the road within the park) and made it WORK! Isn’t it awesome? Her mom said “I never would have thought to take pictures here” but after I showed her the back of my camera, she was in awe.
My best advise for seniors is to save your favorite outfit for the END of your session. The lighting is the best and you are most comfortable with me and with the poses and therefore, those pictures are the best. This is definitely true for Makenna as the rest of the pictures are my favorite and she is wearing her favorite outfit and it was the end of our session.
Also…..always bring a flowy dress that you can play with!
Another hint is to bring a jacket so you can slip it on and off and make the pictures a little different without having to change your whole outfit.
I am still trying to figure out why these giant rock piles are up here…but I am NOT complaining.
At the end of our session, we went up to the mountain overlook and found a happy surprise. Yet another “I never would think to take pictures with this” photo. Any guesses as to what these are??
The golf course was re-doing some of their sprinkler system and had piping all curled up. So fun and different, right?! LiLo weirdness strikes again and makes it totally worth it.
Another reason to wear a jacket? It gives you something to do with your hands.
Colorado in the EARLY summer….when the grass is still green and lush before it dries out.
All I could think of when we were doing these photos was the sound of music. The Hills Are Alive 🎶🎶(sorry you are going to have that song stuck in your head for the rest of the day).
Makenna, you are a beauty inside and out and I have LOVED getting to know you.
