These Littleton Senior Pictures almost didn’t happen!
Check out these skies. It was a little ominous, but we went ahead and I love how these turned out. So moody and cool!
Mia sure made my job easy! She is a natural in front of the camera.
Mia wanted mountains and red rocks in her senior pictures. Mission accomplished!
We headed up to South Valley Park in Littleton. It is such a great location for pictures and is a great alternative to Red Rocks where it is always way too crowded.
I think Mia looks like a young, fresh, Gena Davis! Don’t you think??
Mia took one for the team with this photo. When we were taking these pictures, something bit her! Thankfully she is tough and it wasn’t too bad because it was totally worth it to get this show stopping picture.
When you find a lone sunflower in a field….
Speaking of fields. They are my favorite, especially if there are mountains and lakes in the background.
Mia should be a model with those big brown eyes, full lips and perfect skin. I love how fresh and clean her look is….no fancy makeup needed for this gorgeous young lady.
Stairs make for great composition for photos. See the way the stairs lead your eyes to Mia? That is your little photography lesson for the day. Look for leading lines when you are taking photos.
Funny story about these photos….
I wanted to use the rail guard for leading lines (See above) and get Mia to sit on them. Keep in mind that this is on the edge of a road (thankfully it is NOT a busy road and we were totally safe). However, when I was taking this photo, a big, jacked up truck drove by and thought it would be funny to honk his loud horn and scare the pee out of me!!!
It worked as I almost jumped right out of my skin. I bet he had a good laugh. However, I got the last laugh because these pictures turned out even better than what I had envisioned.
We weren’t even deterred and decided the middle of the road would be a good place for pictures. Again, this is NOT a busy road and we were very safe about how we did these pictures.
Are you catching a theme with all of these pictures? I was really trying to be creative with my composition (see the leading lines again) and be thoughtful about making these really eye pleasing. Add a cute Mia and they are very eye pleasing, don’t you think!?
This spot has quickly become one of my all-time favorites. It is never very crowded (although we did see one other photographer that day) and is so beautiful!
Peep the pockets??? I am a sucker for cute dresses and rompers that have pockets.
Mia, congrats on your senior year! I hope that you make the most of these last few months of high school! It was a joy to get to know you and capture you and all your beauty. You really ought to do some modeling!
